Jeremy Stockwell
Jeremy is a freelance theatre maker. He has devised and directed new work for the National Theatre and Battersea Arts Centre. He is a long serving member of the teaching faculty at RADA where he specialises in devised improvisational physical theatre. He has taught and directed extensively all over Europe including, Scuola Teatro Dimitri, Switzerland, and Kumbarachi 50, in Istanbul. He leads courses on Performance and Creativity at UK universities, including Oxford and Sussex. He has worked extensively in Japan where he is known as a ‘philosophical entertainer’. Ben Duke
Ben is the artistic director of Lost Dog, whose most recent work It Needs Horses was the winner of the 2011 Place Prize in London. Ben trained at the Guildford School of Acting, The London Contemporary Dance School and has a first class degree in English Literature from Newcastle University. Ben has created work for Scottish Dance Theatre, Phoenix Dance Theatre, The Gate Theatre, The National Theatre of Scotland and is currently working with Handspring Puppet Company. As a performer he has worked with Probe, The Hofesh Shechter Company, The Gate Theatre, The National Theatre of Scotland, Glyndebourne Opera and Punchdrunk. www.lostdogdance.co.uk
Pippa Duke MA
Pippa trained at The Royal Ballet School and went on to dance as a Soloist with the Bayerische Staats Oper, former Sadlers Wells Royal Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater, and for Hofesh Schechter in ‘Cult’. From 2002-2010 she was a full time lecturer of Ballet and Performance Studies at the London Contemporary Dance School, where she also completed her Masters Degree in Dance Training and Education. Pippa now freelances, teaching and coaching vocational students and companies such as DV8, The Hofesh Schechter Company, Scottish Dance Theatre, Ballet Rambert and Lost Dog.
Anna von der Lohe
Anna is a movement and dance theatre maker and performer. She trained in theatre creation at www.teatrodimitri.ch She was Movement Director for the German theatre company Fliegende Fische on their tour of India and Napal. Anna has worked extensively with the DanceTheatre company www.obviamest.com. She has taught at RADA and The Actors Centre and was Movement Coach for the BBC on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s series How do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? Sian Thomas
Sian Thomas is a producer, director and dramaturg. She was artistic director of Hat Fair arts festival in Winchester for eight years during which time the festival developed to become one of the major festivals for the sector the UK, commissioning new work from national and international artists. Sian sits on the board of the Independent Street Arts Network. She is driven by the desire to bring culture to those who do not otherwise have access and believes that public cultural celebration is vital for a healthy society.
