Support us

The Actors’ Guild is a not-for-profit – the largest membership organisation offering ongoing career development and support to actors in the UK.

All donations, both large and small, help us to:

• Maintain low membership fees – currently just £10 or £24 a year – meaning those with limited funds are not excluded from access to on-going training (a member of Equity’s average earnings from acting in 2011 was just £6,000*).
• Maintain our support network and services, including our bursary schemes
• Continue to offer a selection of free seminars, both in studio, online and on film
• Support the ongoing professional development of over 3,500 actors
• Nurture both young actors carving a career and jobbing actors in need of support
• Continue to develop an additional programme of workshops outside our Hub at Spotlight around the UK and at our new base in Manchester.

There are many way to support us. Support could take the form of an individual contribution to help directly towards a particular project, sponsoring a workshop or program of classes. Donations could be used towards our bursary schemes or an award. You may also want to support us by helping us to provide workshop space for creatives, whether that be for a play reading or developing an idea prior to production.
