This free event is for members to come together with the writers and a radio drama producer to read and discuss these exciting new plays... 

The Wireless Theatre Company

We exists to keep audio theatre alive and well, by creating original, exciting radio productions - both for existing radio lovers and for the 'download generation'.  

We create a platform for fresh new writers, up and coming acting talent and interesting new ways of producing audio theatre.  With modern technology and the internet the future for radio drama looks bright!  

All our original audio downloads are written, cast, directed, produced and edited by our large enthusiastic and talented team and although we are based in central London, our writers are from all over the world.

Since our launch, we have won five prestigious awards (Best Radio Drama Producer - Fringe Report Awards 2009, Best Entertainment Producer, Best Online Multi Platform Creator - Radio Academy Awards 2011, Mark Time Ogle Award for Best Horror/Fantasy Audio, 2012 and we featured in Radio Drama Reviews Top Best 20 Productions of 2012) recorded over one hundred and thirty original audio productions, launched our Wireless Theatre In Education programme, worked with over two hundred actors, fifteen directors, five producers and eight editors. We have also launched Wireless Theatre LIVE - performing live recordings in front of a studio audience every few months!

Please note> this event has cancellation terms out side of our usual 72 hour notice policy. Because this is a free event, and therefore attracts a large waiting list, members are asked to let us know via email as soon as possible if they need to cancel their place. There is no cancellation penalty unless a member simply fails to let us know that they are not coming. 'No-shows' incur an automatic £10 penalty fee on their account.
